Hurricane Katrina testimony regarding SpaceBags
Hey!
I just wanted to share some information with you regarding my family's space bags. This past July, my husband and I moved from Tennessee to New Orleans, LA. We packed ALL of our winter clothes in a jumbo sized space bag and stored it at my parents house in Waveland, MS. They have returned to their home (which was flooded with 8 feet of water) and gathered up everything they could salvage and loaded it on a U-Haul type truck. My mom just called me and informed me that EVERYTHING we had stored in space bags (we also had extra towels in 2 other space bags) were not damaged at all. She said the bags on the outside looked horrible but the contents inside were perfectly fine. The SpaceBags floated and kept our clothes from being damaged! We were ecstatic!!
We are now going to be living in either Tennessee or Atlanta, GA for a few months and don't have to worry about not having winter clothes! My mom also made the comment that from now on, she is packing everything valuable in SpaceBags because she knows that if their new house (they have to rebuild due to flood damage) were to flood again that stuff would not be damaged.
Thank you so much! If you would like, once my parents get to South Carolina with our stuff, I can take a digital picture and email it to your company if you would like to use it for marketing purposes. I have a marketing degree and know that this type of information would make for some excellent promotions especially during hurricane season down in the Gulf Coast.
Thank you again and let me know if you want me to send you a picture! You now have 2 families that will be avid Space Bag users for life!
Thanks!!!
Stephanie – New Orleans, LA
