The new Hanging Bag allows home organizers to transfer garments (on hangers) from their closet directly into the bag. The operation of the bag is identical to the other vacuum-seal products manufactured by ITW Space Bag. After garments have been placed in the Hanging Bag, the bag is sealed using the vertical airtight, watertight zipper. Employing an ordinary home vacuum-cleaner, the user then removes air from the bag via a patented one-way valve concealed under the outer hook. This causes the contents in the bag to compress and yield up to three times more available closet space. Once they are sealed in the bag, garments are also protected from dust, mildew, moths, oxidation and odors. The sealed storage bag can be hung almost anywhere – closet, garage, attic or basement.
