SAN DIEGO, Calif., ─ ITW Space Bag, the company that created and today dominates the compressible storage category, is launching its first non-compressible product, ZIP N’ Go™ storage bag, which can be used for storing or carrying hard-good items. The move paves the way for ITW Space Bag to develop innovative, non-compressible, home storage solutions.

The new ZIP N’ Go product is billed as the “Hold Everything, Go Anywhere” storage bag. Constructed from clear, heavy-duty poly material, the bag features a reinforced side handle and Easy-Zip Slider for effortless sealing. Currently the product is available in two sizes : XL: 22” x 22” (55cm x 55cm) and XXL: 28” x 28” (71cm x 71cm). The ZIP N’ Go bags are ideal for organizing, storing, and carrying items like Toys, Camping Equipment, Exercise Gear, Arts & Crafts, and Sporting Goods.

In addition to the Zip N’ Go bags, Space Bag has also developed three new compressible storage bags. The company will debut these new products at this year’s International Home & Housewares Show in Chicago, Booth # N8135:

• Family Colors: Offering the same space-saving advantages as the original Space Bag vacuum-seal storage bags, the colored bags help organize packed items by family member, room or even season. Available in Ruby, Teal & Indigo, these Family Color Bags are still transparent on the back side for easy identification of contents. Available in Large size: 21.5” x 33.5” (54cm x 85cm), or Extra Large: 26.5” x 39.5” (67cm x 100cm).

• The Cube™: These newly designed, vacuum-seal storage bags feature a squared (gusset) bottom that allows the bags to stand upright so they’re easier to pack. They’re specially constructed to compress into a cube and thereby conform to plastic bins and moving boxes. The Cube storage bag gives users the ability to store up to 4 times more in their boxes and plastic bins, plus they offer airtight/watertight protection from moths, dust, mildew, and odors.

• Dual-Use: The hybrid Dual-Use bag integrates two patented valves, one for use with a vacuum cleaner, the other for use by hand. Either way, contents (like garments) are reduced to one-third their volume when air is evacuated through one of the valves. Ideal for home storage (using a vacuum cleaner) or when traveling, the Dual-Use bags can compress bulky items and yield up to three times more space in closets or suitcases. Currently available in Large: 21.5” x 33.5” (54cm x 85cm)

The new Space Bag products will be available by the end of March in a variety of stores, including Wal-Mart, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Meijer. The ZIP N’ Go™, Space Bag Family Colors, The Cube™, and Space Bag Dual-Use bags will be priced at retail from $8 to $16. Product assortment, bag count, cost and availability may vary by location.
